[Obviously, Clarke couldn't see everything. Given that she hadn't chosen to partake in the conversation that occurred, it gave her a lot of time to see things clearly. That was helped along by choosing not to do more than skim certain ones. (Read: the especially emotional ones between individuals she knew had already lost their heads early on.)]
Do Noctis and the man imprisoned remember this other war? My other question is this: were you asked to enlist? And do you think us being here has anything to do with it?
I don't know anything about magic myself. We don't have it in my world. Loki makes it sound like it's difficult to understand in a simplified way. But that could just be Loki being himself. [An occasionally extremely condescending prick.]
You're asking a lot of questions. Are you just nosy, or is any of this of importance to you?
They don't remember the other war.
At first, coming here, I thought that the enemy had gotten a hold of me but it doesn't make sense that I'd be the only one who remembered.
I don't want to waste my time speculating when there will inevitably be a confrontation. Then, I'll know.
Well, then all I'll tell you is that a Master and his Servant form a contract. A Servant's body is sustained by magic that they get from their Master. That was the nature of my relationship with Noctis, and at one point, this other guy.
[Given that Achilles is the type of man who stabs a can and puts it on a stove instead of asking for help, she's not surprised that he can't see the significance of what she's asking.]
None of us know why we're here. You know why you were in that other place. I want to rule that out. Forgetting is a sign that you're right. It doesn't make sense that it would only be you. But it's new information just the same. I'll file it away.
I know some of the people here have powers they can feel. Can you still reach out to yours, even if you can't use it? Don't do it now if you haven't already. I've heard it hurts. A lot.
